Views Galleriffic Module
I'm proud to announce the Views Galleriffic module which I've been working on at Drupal.org. It is a simple views plugin for the awesome Galleriffic Jquery plugin.
I built this as I was looking to use the Galleriffic plugin for Robert Couch.net. The module makes it easy to make a galleriffic page using imagefield from one or multiple nodes. I'll be working hard to get it out of development status as I get some of the items working here.
As I have been building this I've also been preparing for my 'Make a Photo Gallery' presentation at Drupal Camp Philly and have been looking at some of the other gallery choices out there. Here is a breakdown of just the rotator / slider modules. There are a lot of interesting choices here but there is also a little overload as well. This is kind of summation of the state of contributed Drupal right now. Almost half a dozen modules are created everyday. Some are better than others. It is a full-time job just to weed through all of the choices. More on this later...
